We’ve had such a great time designing this expansive garden that overlooks the ocean in Denmark, WA. The design centres around a habitable space nestled in between two buildings, and then sweeping terraces on the south side of the house to maximise views to the sea. Following the completion of the Albany information and tourist hub courtyard we are excited to say works are under way on the adjacent Alison Hartman gardens upgrade. We have designed a flexible event zone and created a new commemorative garden centered around celebrating an existing Mokare statue. Mokare was a Minang Noongar man who in the early 1800’s played a key role informing British settlers about the beliefs and customs of his people. #landscapearchitecture #landscapedesign #yorkstreet #albany #amazingalbany
