See Design Studio are proud to be working on a new world-class surf park in Cockburn, Perth.

Along with local architects MJA, we have designed a place that is influenced by local beaches, endemic planting species, and the site’s industrial context.

The surfing lagoon is surrounded by a verdant landscape with a diverse range of recreational offerings.

Embedded into the landscape are pools, expansive alfresco dining areas, a nature playspace, a skate park and a pump track.

A yarning circle will provide knowledge-sharing opportunities and the viewing platform takes in the lagoon, parkland and large event lawn.

The form of the rolling of waves repeated into the public realm to define lower and upper promenades throughout the site. We have worked to create a relaxed, inviting, natural aesthetic that will have a distinctly West Australian feel.
